Former Miss Universe Contestant Kseniya Alexandrova Dies After Tragic Elk Accident
Former Miss Universe contestant and model Kseniya Alexandrova has tragically died following a freak road accident in Russia. She was just 30 years old.
Alexandrova had been traveling with her husband, Ilya, near Rzhev in western Russia when an elk suddenly leapt onto the road. With no time to react, the animal crashed through the couple’s Porsche Panamera windscreen. The impact struck Alexandrova directly in the head while she sat in the passenger seat.
Ilya, who survived the crash, later shared the harrowing moment: “The elk flew into the car. The blow hit Ksyusha in the head. She was unconscious, her head was broken, everything was covered in blood.” He explained that she suffered severe skull fractures and remained in a coma for weeks.
Despite doctors’ efforts, Alexandrova’s condition worsened after contracting meningitis, which developed into blood sepsis. On 15 August, her heart stopped, and medical staff were unable to revive her.
Her modeling agency, Modus Vivendis, confirmed her passing in an emotional statement: “Kseniya was bright and talented. She knew how to inspire, support and give warmth to everyone around her. For us, she will forever remain a symbol of beauty, kindness and inner strength.”
Alexandrova rose to fame as Vice-Miss Russia 2017 and competed in Miss Universe the same year. Beyond modeling, she earned a psychology degree from Moscow State Pedagogical University and had recently begun working as a therapist.
Her sudden passing leaves behind a legacy of beauty, talent, and resilience.
