“UNPRECEDENTED IN AMERICAN HISTORY – a President will preside over Charlie Kirk’s funeral after the horrific assassination.” The news was like a bombshell that shocked the nation. Many were moved by the powerful friendship that transcended death, but others were terrified that the funeral would turn into an unprecedented political show of force. The presence of the most powerful figures in America, the tight security fence, and the global media lens would turn the farewell into a haunting scene. Charlie Kirk’s funeral was no longer just a farewell – it was an earthquake that shook the entire US political system.

They said on X: “Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend.”
Unveiling the funeral details, they added: “The morning of Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, in Glendale, AZ.”
Trump said earlier on Friday he would be in attendance.
It comes after the US President appeared teary-eyed when he addressed the nation on Wednesday night in an emotional tribute.
He said in the message posted to Truth Social: “To my great fellow Americans, I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah.”
He directly blamed the “radical left”, saying: “This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we’re seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now.”
And he promised his administration would “find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence including the organizations that fund it and support it”.
The Don also ordered all American flags to fly at half-staff from Wednesday until Sunday at 6pm.
Charlie Kirk ‘killer’ was ‘kissing trans partner weeks before assassination’
Kirk, the 31-year-old Trump ally and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot in the neck on Wednesday while addressing students at Utah Valley University.
After an intense manhunt, authorities managed to track down alleged assassin Tyler Robinson on Friday.

Donald Trump reveals Charlie Kirk’s grieving wife Erika is ‘devastated’ over horrific assassination at university event
On Saturday, gutwrenching photos showed Kirk’s wife, Erika, mourning by the side of her late husband’s coffin.
Devastated, she said: “I love you, I love you, I know, I miss you so much.”
But determined, she continued: “They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife.
“If they thought my husband’s mission was big now… You have no idea.”

Kirk leaves behind Erika but also his three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son.
Erika described the conservative activist as a “perfect” father and husband in an emotional address from his Turning Point USA studio, where his podcast chair sat hauntingly empty.
She also said: “The world is evil… The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry.
“I have no idea what any of this means… But baby I know you do and so does our Lord.”
Kirk’s body was flown from Utah back to his home state of Arizona alongside Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha.
Erika, who married Kirk in 2021, vowed to push forward with TPUSA’s work.
She announced on Friday that their campus tour would continue throughout the fall.
“There will be even more tours in the years to come,” she said.
“The movement is not going anywhere, and it will only grow stronger when you join it.”
Erika, who was in the audience with her two children when Kirk was assassinated, told how their daughter later asked her: “Where’s daddy?”
She replied: “Baby, daddy loves you so much. Don’t you worry. He’s on a work trip with Jesus.”

It comes after The Sun revealed Kirk’s suspected killer Tyler Robinson was spotted kissing his transgender partner just two weeks before the assassination.
The alleged assassin had reportedly been living with his unidentified lover at a property in Utah.
The partner is said to be fully cooperating with the FBI on its investigation into the shooting of the conservative activist Kirk.
Robinson’s neighbour Josh Kemp, 18, confirmed the alleged gunman was in a relationship with his roommate who he described as “weird”.
